The Beta Band is set to reunite for their first tour since their split in 2004. The iconic lineup of Steve Mason, Richard Greentree, John Maclean, and Robin Jones will embark on a North American and UK tour this autumn, starting in their home country of Scotland before making stops in London, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and several other major cities. The full itinerary is detailed below.
In a statement, the band expressed:
“The Beta Band is an institution, like Arkham or the Brooklyn Zoo, leaving an indelible mark on the fabric of Western culture. It’s time to shine a light on the past and bring back the magic that resonated with audiences.”
In addition to the reunion tour, The Beta Band has announced the reissue of The Three E.P.’s, to be available as double-LPs. This follows their previous reissue in 2018, marking the album’s 20th anniversary, and comes on the heels of their comprehensive compilation, The Regal Years: 1997-2004.
