The 7th NTD International Figure Painting Competition kicks off, opening for registration on January 1, 2025. NTD Television invites professional fine artists from around the world to showcase their mastery in oil painting in the classical/realist tradition.
This prestigious competition is part of a series of arts and culture events organized by NTD Television. It is dedicated to reviving and promulgating the timeless tradition of figure painting. Artists are encouraged to create works with the core themes of pure truth, pure kindness, and pure beauty.
A Global Celebration of Art and Traditional Values
The NTD Painting Competition calls for submissions that:

Depict human figures with exceptional skill in academic or classical/realism techniques.

Convey uplifting ideals, such as virtue, compassion, and beauty.

Embody the power of traditional values, inspiring audiences worldwide.
Open to professional fine artists, including instructors, creative staff, and students. This competition excludes members of the Panel of Judges from entering the competition to ensure fairness and impartiality.

Submission Deadline: July 31, 2025
Finalist Exhibition and Awards
Finalists’ works will be exhibited in New York on Jan 2026. An award ceremony will honor the participants, finalists, and award winners for their excellence in the art of figure painting. Finalists will be invited to special museum/gallery tours and seminars. The venues and specific event dates will be announced at a later date.
