In a recent interview, Warner Bros. TV CEO Channing Dungey confirmed that discussions for the much-anticipated fourth season are in progress. While specifics remain under wraps, Dungey revealed that Sudeikis is enthusiastic about returning to the beloved character.
“We are in conversations about season four, and they are very exciting conversations, but it’s still early days,” stated Dungey.
“We have always maintained that there wouldn’t be more ‘Ted Lasso’ if Jason and the team weren’t feeling excited about it. I can assure you that he is genuinely enthusiastic and in a great place regarding the new season,” Dungey added.
While details about Ted Lasso Season 4 are sparse, reports indicate that Sudeikis will be joined by Brendan Hunt and Juno Temple, with options for cast members Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift reportedly renewed as of August. However, no official confirmations regarding the full cast have been issued yet.
