Tragedy struck in Madhya Pradesh as six individuals lost their lives and nearly 20 others sustained injuries in a horrific collision involving a bus and a truck in Maihar district.
The accident occurred around 11 PM on Saturday when a bus traveling from Prayagraj to Nagpur collided with a stationary stone-laden dumper truck near the Nadan Dehat police station, located approximately 25 kilometers from the district headquarters.
Maihar’s Superintendent of Police, Sudhir Agrawal, reported that among the injured, six individuals are in critical condition and have been referred to Satna for advanced medical care.
The remaining victims are receiving treatment at local hospitals in Maihar and Amarpatan.
Emergency responders and senior officials promptly arrived at the accident site to conduct rescue operations.
