Jakarta, ECNETNews – Helena Lim, a prominent figure in the Crazy Rich Partai Indah Kapuk (PIK), is set to face trial for alleged misuse of mining business permits (IUP) related to PT. Timah at the Corruption Court on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
“The trial date has been established for Wednesday, August 21, 2024,” stated the Head of Legal Information Center at the Attorney General’s Office, Harli Siregar, on Monday, August 19, 2024.
Helena Lim will be the sole defendant in this trial, while other suspects are awaiting their trial schedules at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court. “Currently, only Helena has a confirmed trial date,” Harli added.
Previously, it was reported that the South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office submitted the charges against Helena Lim to the Corruption Court in Central Jakarta, stemming from the ongoing investigation into the alleged misuse of mining permits by PT. Timah. Harli Siregar also indicated that the submission of charges includes suspects Reza Driansyah and Suparta.
“On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, the South Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office submitted three case files to the Corruption Court concerning RZ, S, and H,” Harli stated in Jakarta.
