Featuring over 14 tracks, this album blends iconic hits with experimental pieces, including the previously unreleased track “Common Law,” illustrating the artistry behind the iconic National Freedom studio in Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Richard Swift passed away on July 3, 2018, after a prolonged battle with alcohol addiction, which resulted in serious health complications. His influence reverberated throughout the music community, and his memory continues to be honored through numerous tributes, including a heartfelt tribute concert and a series of special releases.
Swift’s final solo album, The Hex, was released just two months after his death in September 2018. In 2021, posthumous releases featured previously unreleased comedic tracks, showing the diversity of Swift’s musical repertoire.
