Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing serious allegations in a new lawsuit filed in New York, where a woman claims he drugged and sexually assaulted her. This marks the 12th accusation against Combs, who is now embroiled in a controversial legal battle.
The latest accuser alleges that after becoming pregnant, she was pressured by one of Combs’ associates to undergo an abortion, which ultimately led to a miscarriage. Combs was recently arrested and is currently in federal custody, facing criminal charges that include racketeering and sex trafficking. He has vehemently denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
In the detailed lawsuit, the woman, referred to as Jane Doe, describes a pattern of physical and sexual abuse that reportedly began in late 2020 and persisted for four years. She reveals that their relationship started after Combs paid for her travel to an overseas location, where they began meeting regularly.
According to the complaint, Combs allegedly drugged the woman and engaged in sexual acts with her without her consent while she was incapacitated. She claims that these encounters were filmed by Combs without her consent, and she was coerced into participating in group sex. The lawsuit details a particularly distressing incident in July 2022, where the woman allegedly was administered ketamine, causing her to lose consciousness intermittently throughout the night.
Upon discovering her pregnancy, the woman alleges that she was harassed by an associate of Combs, pressuring her to terminate it. Following her miscarriage, she reported feeling threatened by Combs, who is accused of tracking her whereabouts and phone conversations, while discouraging her from working to keep her financially dependent on him.
“No one is above the law. Fame and wealth do not protect Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs from serious allegations of sex trafficking and abuse,” stated the woman’s legal representatives.
Combs has been the center of multiple allegations over the past year, following a legal claim made by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which resulted in a settlement. Federal prosecutors allege that he created a criminal enterprise designed to “abuse, threaten, and coerce women” to fulfill his desires while obscuring his actions.
Currently pleading not guilty to the three felony charges against him, Combs continues to deny previous allegations made in 11 prior lawsuits. The legal ramifications of these accusations are developing, as attention grows in the media surrounding the case.
