A historic prisoner exchange between Russia and the West has culminated in the return of a group of former detainees to Moscow. This significant development includes a Russian couple convicted of espionage in Slovenia, who have returned home alongside their two children.
Upon their arrival, Russian President Vladimir Putin extended a personal welcome to each individual as they disembarked from the plane. The exchange facilitated the release of 24 prisoners held across six nations, involving 16 detainees from Western countries and eight from Russia.
