Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has expressed appreciation for the Andhra Pradesh government’s recent decision to accept recommendation letters from Telangana’s public representatives (MLAs, MLCs, and MPs) for darshan at the revered Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD).
This initiative allows Telangana’s MPs, MLAs, and MLCs to recommend up to six devotees for darshan through official letters twice a week. Reddy emphasized that this development strengthens the cultural ties among the Telugu-speaking populace and reinforces shared traditions.
In a formal communication, Reddy made the request to resume this tradition, which facilitates easier access to Lord Venkateswara’s darshan for Telangana devotees. T. Jagga Reddy, a former MLA and working president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee, also commended the decision, highlighting its significant benefits for the thousands of devotees from Telangana who regularly travel to Tirumala.
