WU LYF is making a highly anticipated return to the music scene. Just one month after the dissolution of his Lost Under Heaven project, frontman Ellery James Roberts has announced three shows in Manchester, England, along with festival appearances in France and Belgium. While specific details remain under wraps, fans have taken to social media, sharing postcards that hint at the upcoming performance dates on a dedicated website. Additionally, an Instagram account linked to the band’s L Y F Recordings label has been teasing the announcement with Stories and images of billboards featuring the message, “A new life is coming.”
This marks WU LYF’s first live performances in 13 years, following the tour for their acclaimed debut album, Go Tell Fire to the Mountain. After the band split in late 2012, Roberts famously declared, “WU LYF is dead to me,” reflecting on the challenges of maintaining authenticity in the music industry.
