Chief Minister Siddaramaiah unveiled a new whey protein-enriched idli/dosa batter on Wednesday, developed by the Karnataka Milk Federation under the esteemed Nandini brand. The launch took place at the Vidhana Soudha, with notable presence from Ministers K. Venkatesh, Krishna Byre Gowda, and Dinesh Gundu Rao.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office, this innovative batter will contain 5% whey protein and will initially be introduced in the Bengaluru market before expanding to additional areas. The Karnataka Milk Federation will offer the batter in convenient 450 g and 900 g packets.
In recent efforts to broaden its market reach, KMF has also launched its milk and other dairy products in New Delhi and various regions beyond Karnataka.
