A cargo spacecraft has successfully arrived at the International Space Station (ISS), bringing essential food, fuel, and supplies for the crew onboard. Currently, the ISS is home to the Expedition 71 crew, which includes two NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who are awaiting a safe return due to ongoing safety concerns regarding the Boeing Starliner capsule intended for their journey home.
The uncrewed Progress 89 spacecraft delivered approximately three tons of supplies to support the astronauts. This vital resupply mission will keep the spacecraft docked at the ISS for around six months before it embarks on its return journey to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere to dispose of waste, according to NASA officials.
Stay tuned for more updates on the situation involving the astronauts currently stationed at the ISS.
