WASHINGTON, USA – The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), alongside the Peruvian Ministry of Economy and Finance and ProInversión, is set to host the 12th edition of PPP Americas, the leading forum for public-private partnerships in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Scheduled for April 8-9, 2025, in Lima, PPP Americas 2025 will convene over 600 government representatives, investors, and industry experts from 25 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Senior officials from the IDB and IDB Invest, the organization’s private-sector arm, will be in attendance.
The event aims to address the key challenges and opportunities for enhancing regional development through private-sector contributions, addressing the need for improved infrastructure and public services via public-private partnerships.
Research indicates that effectively structured PPPs can lead to improved infrastructure, maximize the utilization of public resources, and provide substantial benefits to both the economy and society.
PPP Americas 2025 will present over 125 esteemed panelists who will discuss topics including digital transformation, financing mobilization, attracting private investments, fostering innovation for sustainable outcomes, and frameworks for continuous improvement.
This prominent biannual event follows the successful 2023 edition in Panama, which identified over 400 projects at various stages of development, with investment opportunities nearing $120 billion.
