Jakarta, ECNETNews – Indonesia is gearing up to celebrate its 79th Independence Day on August 17. In the spirit of gratitude and unity, various sectors of society are encouraged to initiate positive activities to honor this significant occasion.
One notable initiative comes from Bangka entrepreneur Yudhi Fu, who is giving back to the community by distributing hundreds of food packages to underprivileged residents in Rebo Village, Bangka, ahead of the Independence Day festivities.
Yudhi Fu expressed that his efforts to distribute essential food items symbolize gratitude as Indonesia approaches this important date. He aims to foster a sense of togetherness through his charitable actions.
“This is one way to express our gratitude ahead of Indonesia’s Independence Day, so that the residents can joyfully celebrate this special moment,” said Yudhi in a statement.
The recipients of the food packages displayed broad smiles, reflecting their happiness and appreciation.
Yudhi Fu, born in Bangka on January 14, 1965, is an influential businessman with a diverse portfolio, including leading Ridia Akusa Utama, a group specializing in oil and gas and shipping. He is recognized as the first Pertamina agent in Indonesia, operating a fleet of around 50 ships.
His entrepreneurial journey began with humble beginnings, having sold vegetables at the Ciputat Market after graduating high school. From there, he inherited a company from his in-laws and gradually expanded his business, which now includes a significant fleet of vessels.
Yudhi is also pioneering a renewable energy initiative with B100, a sustainable product derived from palm oil, currently under construction in Bangka. His success story is a testament to determination and intelligent work, proving that one can rise from modest origins to achieve greatness.
