Over 20 passengers sustained injuries in a serious bus accident on Friday, as a private bus veered off a bridge and plunged a few feet into a ‘nullah.’ The incident occurred while the bus was en route from Talwandi Sabo to Bhatinda.
Local residents quickly rushed to the scene to assist the victims in evacuating the bus. Emergency services, including police and district administration, promptly initiated a rescue operation, transporting the injured individuals to a nearby hospital.
Officials noted that inclement weather conditions in the area may have contributed to the incident. Further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
