Omar Apollo is set to make his acting debut in the highly anticipated film Queer, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Luca Guadagnino. Apollo headlines a star-studded cast that includes Daniel Craig, Jason Schwartzman, Drew Starkey, Lesley Manville, and David Lowery. Queer is scheduled to premiere at the prestigious 81st Venice International Film Festival, running from August 28 to September 7.
Sharing his excitement about the role, Apollo expressed on social media, “1st movie with Luca, wow hot ass cast 🪽.”
In addition to his film debut, Apollo recently launched his second studio album, God Said No, which dropped earlier this summer. He is currently on tour, performing across various cities through October.
