PIEDRAS NEGRAS, COAH.- In light of ongoing conflicts around the globe, particularly in the Middle East, the Bishop of the Diocese of Piedras Negras is urging the community to pray for peace and the victims of war.
The Bishop called on the faithful to include in their prayers the nations affected by conflict, such as Israel and Ukraine, as well as the post-electoral turmoil in Venezuela, where violent protests have resulted in fatalities.

He emphasized the crucial role of prayer as a means to attain peace in countries long embroiled in warfare, leading to the tragic loss of countless lives, many of whom are innocent.
“We need to pray and contribute to being builders of peace, also here in Mexico, where innocent people continue to fall victim to violence,” concluded the Bishop of the Diocese of Piedras Negras.
