London saxophonist Nubya Garcia is set to embark on a North American tour in support of her acclaimed sophomore album, Odyssey. After completing scheduled performances in Australia and Asia, Garcia’s tour will kick off on April 1 in Alexandria, Virginia, and conclude on April 22 in La Jolla, California. This series of concerts promises to showcase her innovative jazz compositions and offers fans an unmissable experience.
Released in September, Odyssey marks Garcia’s follow-up to her debut album, Source, and its remix counterpart Source ⧺ We Move. The album features contributions from notable artists and showcases Garcia’s pioneering work, including her first self-composed string orchestrations.
