The groundbreaking demonstration of the $2.5 million HEIST project—standing for Hybrid Space-submarine Architecture Ensuring Infosec of Telecommunications—took place in Sweden on January 16. This test showcased how innovative software can efficiently coordinate outgoing data transmissions with available satellite internet services.
