On Monday morning, air quality across all provinces in Thailand was reported as “safe,” with Bangkok showcasing the lowest levels of ultrafine dust, according to the latest data from government sources.
Reports indicated that particulate matter (PM2.5) levels ranged from 18.4 to 30.2 micrograms per cubic meter nationwide over the past 24 hours, well below the government threshold of 37.5 µg/m³.
A total of thirty-two provinces achieved good air quality, with PM2.5 concentrations classified as “green” at levels between 18.4 and 25 µg/m³.
Bangkok recorded the lowest levels, followed by Nonthaburi (19.9), Samut Prakan (20.3), Pathum Thani (21.3), and Samut Sakhon (22.2).
Other provinces with favorable air quality included Ayutthaya, Chon Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phangnga, Phuket, Satun, and Trang.
In contrast, forty-five provinces experienced moderate air quality, categorized as “yellow,” with PM2.5 levels ranging from 25.2 to 30 µg/m³.
Notable regions with moderate air quality included northern provinces such as Chiang Mai (29.4 µg/m³), Chiang Rai (29.3), Mae Hong Son (29.9), Nan (30.2), Nong Khai (26.5), and Nakhon Ratchasima (25.4).
