Moses Sumney has unveiled a fresh version of his track “Hey Girl,” now titled “Hey Girl(s).” This reimagined single features collaborations with prominent artists Syd and Meshell Ndegeocello.
Meshell Ndegeocello expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, “I was excited when Moses thought of me for this song because I love his voice; it’s just otherworldly. This song captivated me with its forward-looking romantic narrative. It was a pleasure to witness his creative process and an honor to be involved in it.”
In a remarkable achievement, Meshell Ndegeocello recently secured the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Jazz Album. She made history as the first artist to win in this category, having also received the award when it was introduced in 2024.
