HYDERABAD
In a significant political statement, Gudur Narayana Reddy, a member of the BJP’s executive committee, expressed optimism regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s diplomatic initiatives aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Reddy believes that these efforts will soon lead to a peaceful resolution.
During a recent statement, Reddy commended Modi for his visits to both Ukraine and Russia last month, where the Prime Minister promoted dialogue as a pathway to peace. “Prime Minister Modi’s engagement in Ukraine has advanced the peace dialogue, demonstrating India’s commitment to facilitate negotiations between the two nations,” he remarked.
He emphasized, “India has consistently advocated for the resolution of disputes through dialogue instead of warfare.” Additionally, Reddy criticized opposition leaders, particularly for downplaying Modi’s peace initiatives by equating the Kashmir issue with the situation in Ukraine.
