Actress and model Dayle Haddon has tragically passed away due to a carbon monoxide leak at a residence in Pennsylvania. Authorities have confirmed that another individual is hospitalized following the incident.
Haddon, recognized for her modeling work with major brands and her covers on celebrated magazines in the 1970s, was found deceased in a second-floor bedroom of the Bucks County home. Emergency responders received a call at 6:31 AM local time, reporting that a 76-year-old man had collapsed on the first floor. This individual, identified as Walter J. Blucas, is currently in critical condition at a New Jersey hospital.
Records indicate that the home is owned by Haddon’s daughter, Ryan Haddon, and her husband, actor Marc Blucas. Preliminary findings suggest that a malfunctioning exhaust pipe from the heating system caused the deadly carbon monoxide leak. In a concerning development, two emergency personnel were affected by high levels of carbon monoxide, necessitating hospitalization.
Born in Quebec, Canada, Dayle Haddon initially pursued a career as a ballerina before establishing herself as a renowned model and actress, featuring in films such as “The World’s Greatest Athlete” (1973) and “North Dallas Forty” (1979).
In a heartfelt tribute, her daughter honored Haddon, describing her as a deeply creative and kind individual who valued her spiritual journey. “She was a woman in her power, yet soft and attentive to all,” she remarked, highlighting her mother’s remarkable spirit and legacy.
