Minister Saji Cherian to Raise National Flag in Alappuzha

Fisheries and Cultural Affairs Minister Saji Cherian is set to hoist the national flag on Independence Day at the Alappuzha Police Parade Ground at 9 a.m. this Thursday. Following the flag hoisting ceremony, Minister Cherian will inspect the parade and deliver a speech to attendees. The parade will feature participation from 16 platoons, including units from the Police, Excise, Student Police Cadet, Bharat Scouts and Guides, and the Red Cross. The parade will be commanded by Veeyapuram police station inspector A. Shafeek. Notable attendees will include the District Collector and the District Police Chief.
