ECNETNews – Enugu: The Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, has reaffirmed the All-Progressives Congress (APC)’s commitment to securing leadership in Enugu State by 2027.
This announcement was made in Enugu during a gathering where Nnaji and party leaders welcomed former members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Emeka Abah and Basil Ani, as well as former Labour Party (LP) representative Tony Chigbo into the APC.
Following the induction of the new members, Nnaji emphasized that the APC is actively strategizing to strengthen its position ahead of the upcoming elections in 2027.
Nnaji praised the achievements of the APC under President Bola Tinubu, highlighting the party’s efforts to transform the country over the past two years. He remarked, “The number of jobs created, including various appointments, is unprecedented in the South East and particularly in Enugu State, showcasing what is possible when we assume leadership.”
In his remarks, the state chairman of APC, Agballah, commended President Tinubu for his visionary leadership, stating that the party is now more united and prepared to challenge the PDP in Enugu.
The newly inducted members committed to leveraging their resources to bolster the party’s efforts in their local government areas, aiming for a decisive victory for the APC in the 2027 elections.
