After over a decade of releasing singles and EPs that positioned him as one of the UK’s leading underground DJs and producers, this release marks a significant milestone in his career. According to Midland, the album serves as “an homage to and celebration of the gift of otherness and the spaces and voices that have helped along the way.”
The album features Midland’s own vocals on the new track "Never Enough," which showcases his musical evolution. In addition to his contributions, Fragments of Us features collaborations with various outsider artists, enriching the project with diverse perspectives.
