ECNETNews – A sacred ceremony for the command transition took place at the Infantry Mechanized Battalion 202/Tajimalela parade ground in Rawa Lumbu, Bekasi, West Java.
According to an official communique from Brigade Infantry (Brigif) 1/Jaya Sakti, the handover ceremony was led by Brigif 1/Jaya Sakti Commander, Colonel Inf Thomas Rajunio.
During the ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Naryanto transferred the command staff to Major Inf Dhavid Nur Hadiansyah, the new leader of Battalion 202/Tajimalela.
“Welcome aboard, Major Inf Dhavid, and thank you to Lieutenant Colonel Inf Naryanto for your dedication and service during your leadership of this battalion,” remarked Colonel Inf Thomas Rajunio.
It is noteworthy that Lieutenant Colonel Inf Naryanto served as the 34th Commander of Battalion Tajimalela since May 2023, succeeding Lieutenant Colonel Inf Danang Waluyo.
Meanwhile, Major Inf Dhavid Nur Hadiansyah, a graduate of the Military Academy class of 2006, previously served in the Udayana Regional Command as Head of Administration before transitioning to Kodam Jaya.
The Infantry Battalion 202 Tajimalela is one of three infantry battalions under the Kodam Jaya tasked with the special responsibility of securing the capital city.
Since its establishment in 1948, the battalion has been the birthplace of two four-star generals in the Indonesian military: retired General Umar Wirahadikusumah and retired General Tyasno Sudarto, both of whom served as Army Chief of Staff.
