ECNETNews reports that Teyana Taylor and Sasha Calle have officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated Netflix thriller RIP.
RIP, directed by Joe Carnahan, features a star-studded lineup including Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. While a release date has yet to be confirmed, the excitement surrounding the project continues to build.
Sources indicate that Taylor and Calle have both been cast in pivotal roles. Taylor is known for her performances in films such as Stomp the Yard: Homecoming, The After Party, Coming 2 America, and this year’s critically acclaimed A Thousand and One, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. She is also set to appear alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in an upcoming film by Paul Thomas Anderson releasing in August.
Sasha Calle gained fame as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in The Flash, which premiered in summer 2023. She has since taken on roles in the upcoming films In the Summers and On Swift Horses, in addition to her role as Lola Rosales in The Young and the Restless.
