Announces Consolidation of Atwood Energy Services into Martell Electric, LLC, Expanding Focus on Renewable Energy Projects South Bend, IN- Martell Services Group, Inc., the parent company of Martell Electric, LLC, Ideal Consolidated, Inc, and Atwood Energy Services (“AES”) of Iowa City, IA, is pleased to announce the consolidation of Atwood Energy Services (AES) into Martell Electric, LLC, effective January 1, 2025. As part of this transition, the Iowa City location will officially adopt the Martell Electric, LLC name and will shift its focus toward expanding and enhancing the company’s renewable energy projects. The consolidation reflects Martell Electric LLC’s growing commitment to renewable energy solutions and its desire to better serve customers across its locations in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, and Arizona.

The Iowa City location, now operating as Martell Electric, LLC, will continue to focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects, capitalizing on their strong foundation of expertise in solar and energy storage solutions. The company aims to foster collaboration and growth in these areas, supporting both local and national clients.
In addition, Martell Electric, LLC is excited to announce that it is working with Matt Resor, Business Manager of IBEW Local 405, to transition the non-bargaining unit field employees from AES into the IBEW union. Matt Resor has been instrumental in supporting this process, and the company looks forward to tapping into the skilled workforce of IBEW Local 405 to supplement its existing team and provide additional opportunities for training and education.
