Danish forward Chido Obi-Martin has officially joined Manchester United’s first team as their third striker, alongside Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Højlund.
This strategic move comes as the team evaluates its current striking options, with Zirkzee having netted only one Premier League goal across six matches.
Obi-Martin gained significant attention in November 2023 after scoring an impressive 10 goals in a single match for Arsenal’s U16s, contributing to a staggering 14-3 victory over Liverpool.
Throughout the last season, the Denmark under-17 international showcased his talent by scoring 32 goals in 24 youth team appearances for Arsenal, coupled with valuable training sessions with the first team.
As Manchester United looks to bolster its attacking lineup, the inclusion of the promising 16-year-old could prove crucial as the season progresses.
