CHICAGO – A shooting incident occurred outside a terminal at Chicago O’Hare International Airport early Wednesday, resulting from an altercation involving multiple individuals, according to police reports.
A 25-year-old man sustained two gunshot wounds to his lower body and was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition.
Authorities are currently interviewing another individual in connection with the incident.
The shooting took place on a street adjacent to Terminal 2. Reports indicated a shattered window near the baggage claim area as a result of the incident.
By 5:15 a.m., all arrival lanes at O’Hare were reopened, ensuring normal operations resumed at the airport.
Terminal 2 services several airlines, including those offering flights from JetBlue, Air Canada, and Alaska Airlines.
