A tragic incident has unfolded in Odo Tente, a community bordering Lagos and Ogun states, where a 45-year-old man named Kazeem drowned in a river. Reports indicate that the unfortunate event took place on Friday around 11 am.
Before his death, Kazeem was believed to have consumed a hard drug known as Colorado. Witnesses claim that while under the drug’s influence, he began acting erratically, leading him to jump into the river.
The Lagos State Police confirmed the incident, with the Police Public Relations Officer stating that a report was filed at the Alagbado Division. The officer revealed that Kazeem, aged 45, ran uncontrollably into the water after consuming the substance and ultimately drowned.
Following the incident, local detectives visited the site to gather evidence and document the scene. Family members of the deceased indicated that Kazeem’s body would be buried immediately by the riverside in accordance with their traditions.
