Authorities in Udayagiri have apprehended a man accused of defrauding numerous individuals through deceptive investment schemes. The arrest follows a significant public protest outside the police station, where victims demanded justice after the suspect allegedly vanished without repaying their investments.
In response to a flood of complaints, law enforcement officials filed a First Information Report (FIR) and detained one individual connected to the scam, while three accomplices remain at large.
Investigators revealed that the principal suspect posed as an agent for an insurance company, enticing unsuspecting individuals with promises of extraordinary returns on their investments.
