Black Country, New Road has unveiled a new track titled “For the Cold Country.” This marks the third single from their much-anticipated album, Forever Howlong, showcasing pianist and accordionist May Kershaw as the lead vocalist for the first time. The single is now available for listening.
The band previously teased Forever Howlong with two singles: “Besties” and “Happy Birthday,” featuring Georgia Ellery and bassist Tyler Hyde, respectively, as lead vocalists.
Produced by renowned collaborator James Ford, known for his work with major acts, Forever Howlong is set to be released on April 4. This album marks the group’s third studio effort, following 2021’s For the First Time and 2022’s Ants From Up There, and is significant as it is their first release without founding vocalist Isaac Wood.
