Lady Gaga is set to unveil her highly anticipated seventh album in February 2025, with a lead single dropping next month. The project, affectionately referred to by fans as LG7, will be launched alongside the promotion of Joker: Folie à Deux, where Gaga stars as Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix. On September 4, she announced via social media that the first single would be released in October, while a recent profile hinted at the album’s February launch as a follow-up to Chromatica. Gaga is also reportedly working on a separate surprise project.
While details about the upcoming album remain under wraps, Gaga shared in a recent interview that her creative journey involves confronting personal pain. “There’s a lot of pain associated with this adventure, and when I start to explore that pain it can bring out another side to my artistry,” she explained. She emphasized the therapeutic nature of her creative process, stating, “When I’m here at this studio, I’m relaxed and I am able to face my demons and what’s remarkable is… that’s the music. I’m able to hear it back.” She also mentioned that she has been inspired lately by artists such as Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Kesha.
