Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have teamed up for their exciting new single, “Die With a Smile,” accompanied by a captivating vintage-style video. The visual, crafted by both Mars and director Daniel Ramos, presents the duo in charming country attire, set against a backdrop reminiscent of a 1950s recording studio fused with a television show set.
In a recent announcement, Gaga revealed that her upcoming album is nearing completion. She expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other. I was finishing up my own album when he invited me to his studio to hear something he was working on. I was blown away by his amazing work. We spent the night writing and recording the song together. Bruno’s exceptional talent and vision are truly unmatched.”
Bruno also shared his excitement, saying, “Working with Gaga has been an incredible honor. She brings a unique magic to this song, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
Gaga previously teased the collaboration, sharing a glimpse of the duo in coordinating blue and red outfits. They debuted the track at a special event at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood.
Gaga has been busy, having released her last single “Hold My Hand,” the theme song for the 2022 blockbuster film. She has since graced the stage at the Oscars and the upcoming Olympics Opening Ceremony, in addition to reviving her successful Las Vegas residency. Her sixth studio album, titled Chromatica, was released in 2020.
Fans can also look forward to Gaga’s role as Harley Quinn in the highly-anticipated sequel to Joker, set for release on October 4.
