Krysten Ritter Expresses Enthusiasm for Jessica Jones Return
In a recent interview discussing her role in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Ritter responded to remarks by a Marvel Studios executive at D23 Brazil, who expressed interest in seeing Jessica Jones rejoin the MCU.
Ritter enthusiastically embraced the idea, playfully referencing the executive’s position and conveying her readiness to reprise the role. “That’s really exciting to hear. Isn’t that the guy who makes the call? Come on, let’s get it going. I’ll be ready,” she stated.
This isn’t the first time Ritter has hinted at her desire to return to the character, as she previously expressed optimism about reprising the role during a podcast appearance two years ago. “I hope so! I think that people love Jessica, I know because I live it… I would have my boots and jacket on, ready to rock,” she remarked.
Jessica Jones originally premiered in 2015 as part of Netflix’s Marvel lineup, which featured popular series such as Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. With the cast of Daredevil set to return to the MCU next year in Daredevil: Born Again, fans are hopeful that Jessica Jones will follow suit.
