Kim Deal of The Breeders is set to release her highly anticipated solo studio album, Nobody Loves You More, on November 22, through 4AD. The first glimpse of the album includes the captivating new single “Crystal Breath,” accompanied by a visually striking video.
Deal has a rich history of creativity, having penned and recorded two of the album’s oldest tracks—“Are You Mine?” and “Wish I Was”—back in 2011. The latest recordings took place with renowned engineer Steve Albini at Chicago’s Electrical Audio in November 2022. Collaborators on this project include her Breeders bandmates Kelley Deal and Jim Macpherson, as well as former bandmates Mando Lopez and Britt Walford, guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, mixing engineer Marta Salogni, and mastering engineer Heba Kadry.
This upcoming album marks a significant return for Deal, following the release of The Breeders’ last studio album, All Nerve, in March 2018.
