Kevin Morby has unveiled an exciting new one-day music festival he has curated, aptly titled “This Is a Festival.” The event, which draws inspiration from Morby’s 2022 album, will take place at the scenic Quarry Amphitheater in Santa Cruz, California. In a statement about the festival, Morby expressed his disbelief at being able to host such an event, describing it as “surreal.” He elaborated, “It feels like a dream in which you’re trying to rationalize how all of these different people from your life are somehow in the same place at the same time. This festival brings together five of my favorite artists from the last twenty years, all appearing at an amphitheater that will be MC’d by my favorite podcast.
