Bogor, ECNETNews – A family in Cimayang Village, Pamijahan, Bogor Regency, West Java, experienced a tragic act of terrorism on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. The incident claimed the life of HS, the family’s patriarch.
The Cibungbulang Police confirmed the terrorist event. Cibungbulang Police Chief Kompol Heri Hermawan reported that the act of violence and theft occurred around 4:00 AM.
HS was found dead in a vehicle, suffering severe head and neck injuries. His wife, R, his mother, N, and his child, A, also sustained injuries.
“This violent theft resulted in one fatality, while the other victims were rushed to Leuwiliang Regional Hospital,” stated Kompol Heri.
According to witness accounts, HS had contacted a relative in a panic, indicating that his life was in danger. Upon arrival, the witness and her husband discovered the home in disarray and bloodied. The victims were then taken to Cibungbulang Health Center before being referred to the regional hospital.
The police quickly responded to the scene for an investigation. Officers found HS’s body in a vehicle with license plate B 1140 EYK, along with a bottle of alcoholic beverage and coffee scattered near the house along with bloodstains.
“It is suspected that four unidentified perpetrators were involved in this case and stole the victim’s Xpander vehicle,” Kompol Heri disclosed.
The police are actively investigating the case further to identify the assailants. “We are taking steps by interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence, and providing medical care to the victims. This case is still under investigation, and we hope the public can provide information to assist in solving this crime,” he added.
