The acclaimed pop star will also deliver a stellar performance featuring a medley of her most iconic hits during the live ceremony on September 11, taking place at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. Last year’s recipient, Shakira, joined a celebrated group of honorees that includes superstars like Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Madonna, Rihanna, Missy Elliott, and Britney Spears.
Recently, Perry made waves in the music scene with her comeback single “Woman’s World,” which was released last month alongside the announcement of her upcoming studio album, 143.
