Karen O and Danger Mouse are set to release a special reissue of their acclaimed 2019 album Lux Prima on September 20, featuring two bonus tracks. Notably, the new track “Super Breath” marks their first release since the original album. Additionally, fans will enjoy their 2019 cover of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day,” initially recorded for a session. These tracks will be available on a bonus 7" included with the reissue, along with a 16-page booklet inspired by the "Encounter with Lux Prima" exhibition at the Marciano Arts Foundation in Los Angeles.
Since the release of Lux Prima, Danger Mouse has unveiled the Cheat Codes LP in collaboration with Black Thought and has reissued his 2004 album with Jemini, Born Again. Meanwhile, Karen O has joined forces with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs for their latest project, the 2022 LP Cool It Down. This reissue promises to be a must-have for fans of both artists.
