Kanye West has once again made headlines following a controversial appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards alongside his wife, Bianca Censori. This comes after a tumultuous period marked by antisemitic remarks that led to professional repercussions and public scrutiny in 2022. His public comeback included the releases of two albums, Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, and the reinstatement of his social media presence.
Recently, however, West has taken to social media to reiterate his previous inflammatory views, expressing antisemitic and racist sentiments. In one of his posts, he declared, “IM RACIST STEREO TYPES EXIST FOR A REASON AND THEY ALL BE TRUE.” He further asserted, in capital letters, his distrust of Jewish people and lauded Adolf Hitler, declaring himself a Nazi and refusing to apologize for his beliefs. His recent posts also included various other offensive remarks targeting marginalized communities.
West has also publicly defended Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing serious legal challenges, including racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He voiced the opinion that authorities are attempting to “make an example out of” Diddy, and has appealed for a pardon on behalf of the musician, who has denied wrongdoing amid multiple lawsuits alleging abuse.
Additionally, West came to the defense of Chris Brown, who was convicted of assault in 2009. He criticized the public backlash against Brown, citing a pattern of attempts to “cancel” him over his legal troubles.
In a recent post, West shared his motivations behind his controversial statements, questioning if anyone has ever felt the urge to express everything they’ve been taught to suppress.
