In a significant operation led by the District Narcotics Control Cell, Kadapa police successfully seized 6.6 kg of ganja and apprehended four individuals.
These coordinated searches took place across the Kadapa One Town, Chennur, and RIMS police station jurisdictions on Monday.
During the operation in Chennur, a suspect named Pullaiah was arrested with 3.5 kg of ganja in his possession. In the One Town area, two individuals, Janardhan and Obulesu, were caught with two kg of ganja, while Jagadish was found with 1,100 grams of ganja in the RIMS police limits.
Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju urged the community to report any information regarding ganja smuggling or usage by calling the confidential toll-free number 14,500, ensuring that the identities of informers will be kept confidential.
