After recently winning a Grammy® for Best Reggae Album with Colors of Royal at the 66th Grammy® Awards, Marley and Antaeus are setting their sights on a new accolade: Best Remixed Recording in the Pop & Dance/Electronic category. With the eligibility period for the 2025 Grammy® Awards spanning from September 2023 to August 2024, Marley’s remix is creating significant excitement among fans and music critics alike.
The Grammy® Awards timeline features First Round Voting from October 4 to 15, with the Nominations Announcement set for November 8. Final Round Voting will take place from December 12, 2024, to January 3, 2025, leading up to the awards ceremony on February 2, 2025.
The newest release, “Jah Sees Them – Amapiano Remix,” is an electrifying club anthem that merges Julian’s classic reggae sound with the vibrant beats of South Africa’s Amapiano genre. The remix, produced by a team of talented UK DJs and Antaeus, beautifully combines various cultural influences. Recently launched through Monom Records, the track features mixing and mastering from Grammy®-winning engineers Joe Maldonado and Alex Psaroudakis.
