Jeff Tweedy has unveiled an exciting U.S. tour, featuring performances in cities where the acclaimed Wilco frontman rarely takes the stage. The tour will commence with a special two-event series in Illinois, including an in-conversation segment at the Evanston Folk Festival and a solo show at Navy Pier’s Chicago Live! event. The tour concludes with a captivating three-night residency in Woodstock, New York, followed by another three-night engagement in Menlo Park, California.
Tweedy’s latest solo album, “Love Is the King,” released in 2020, coincided with his insightful book “How to Write One Song.” Last year, he expanded his literary repertoire with “World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music,” in which he honored iconic songs by Woody Guthrie and Bill Fay.
