ECNETNews is excited to announce the official launch of Oppo’s Find N5, hailed as the world’s thinnest book-style foldable phone.
The highly anticipated device, first teased in January, is now available globally, starting at a price of $2,499 SGD (approximately $1,868 USD) in Singapore.
The Find N5 boasts an impressive 8.12 inches of screen real estate.
This premium smartphone offers a compelling value proposition, showcasing its powerful capabilities along with a substantial battery and a large foldable display, all while maintaining a sleek profile. At just 8.93 millimeters thick, the Find N5 is only slightly thicker than the Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is 8.25 millimeters thick, although it is not foldable. Weighing in at 229 grams, it’s designed for comfortable handling.
The specifications are equally impressive, featuring an 8.12-inch main OLED display and a 6.62-inch OLED cover display, both with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with options of 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB. The device houses a robust triple camera system on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, alongside an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. To support all these features, it packs a massive 5,600mAh battery with rapid 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
Key features also include stereo speakers and an impressive water resistance rating of IPX8/IPX9, making it the first foldable phone tested withstand water jets at extreme temperatures.
Launching with Android 15 and Oppo’s ColorOS 15, the Find N5 is set to be available for pre-order starting February 21, with global availability commencing February 28.
