The Millennium Challenge Account – Mongolia (MCA-Mongolia) is a government-established entity, created by Resolution No. 297 in October 2018, to implement the Mongolia Water Compact in partnership with the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
As an intern in the Finance unit, you will report to the Director of Finance and assist the team with various support functions. This internship lasts for three months and requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, offering a daily meal and transportation allowance of MNT 50,000 net.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate briefing packages for official meetings;
- Develop presentation materials for training sessions;
- Organize and archive financial documents;
- Assist in the customs tariff and tax exemption request process;
- Enter data into the government reporting system;
- Draft weekly call memos;
- Support fixed asset inventory counting;
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking third or final-year students studying Economics, Finance, International Trade, Accounting, or Business. Candidates must be bilingual, have a flexible schedule, and meet the following requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Strong command of English with commendable academic performance;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, demonstrating initiative and dynamism;
- Availability for 20 hours per week.
