A flight bound for Bengaluru was cancelled after experiencing a bird strike at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala on Monday morning. The incident occurred just before takeoff, affecting 179 passengers onboard.
IndiGo flight 6E 6629, scheduled to operate from Thiruvananthapuram to Bengaluru, had to return to its parking bay following the bird strike. The airline has confirmed that the aircraft will undergo necessary maintenance before resuming operations.
Affected passengers were rebooked on another flight scheduled for 6:30 PM.
