Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the highly anticipated Global AI Summit 2024 on Thursday. The event, organized by the Telangana government, will take place at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre.
Themed “Making AI Work for Everyone,” the summit aims to facilitate extensive discussions on various facets of artificial intelligence, reinforcing Telangana’s aspirations to become a global innovation hub in AI technology.
Mr. Reddy will be joined by Information Technology and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu. The summit will unfold over two days with four parallel tracks, including a main plenary session and dedicated discussions, focusing on AI advancements, practical applications, and future potential.
A Gathering of AI Experts
Expected to attract 2,500 delegates from around the globe, the summit will showcase a lineup of renowned AI experts. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders who will provide insights into AI’s impact across various sectors including governance, finance, and technology.
The summit will feature hackathons, live demonstrations, and startup showcases, presenting innovative projects and emerging technologies.
Key topics of discussion will include AI’s role in social good, regulatory challenges, and the future trajectory of AI across industries. Attendees can look forward to high-profile panel discussions, fireside chats, and interactive sessions led by industry leaders.
Introduction of AI City
In conjunction with the summit, Telangana will unveil an ambitious AI City project, spanning 200 acres near Hyderabad. This AI City aims to serve as a pivotal hub for collaboration between global tech giants and local talent to drive transformative AI innovations.
